Clerestory Vent Enclosures for New School Teaching Block

Last year we wrapped up a project supporting the construction of a new teaching block. Our scope involved the design of a series of clerestory vent enclosures to provide natural daylight and controlled ventilation to the building interior.

At Odysea Engineering Consultants ltd, we were responsible for:
✅ Detailed design of the steel framework forming the enclosures
✅ Steel to steel and steel to concrete connection design
✅ Detailed design of the glazing panels
✅ A lifting and installation assessment

This one was a great collaboration between structural design and architectural intent, a nice example of how steel and glass can work together to deliver performance and aesthetics.
