At Odysea Engineering, we specialise in practical problem-solving for the UK energy sector. We recently completed a project for a client who needed to install a new solar-powered Aid to Navigation (AtoN) system on an offshore asset.
The challenge was a classic offshore constraint: severely limited deck space. A standard installation simply wasn’t feasible. Our solution was the design of a custom modular grillage, allowing a high-output PV array to be securely mounted to the roof of a standard shipping container.
